Joanne Wilson BSc MIACP is a fully trained and highly qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She works with teenagers (From 14 years old upwards), adults and couples.

Joanne has been practicing for years. In addition to working in private practice Joanne has five years clinical experience with Fingal Counselling Service, Swords and two years with Pieta House, Centre for Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm.

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a higher level diploma in Integrative Supervision among other certificates of training.. She continues to further her training by regularly attending training workshops and courses for ongoing professional development.

Joanne's core training is in Person Centred and Humanistic Counselling however she uses an eclectic approach combining this with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Brief Therapy, Choice Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Existential Psychology to suit the individual needs of each Client.

Joanne always adheres to the code of ethics set out by IACP and a copy is available to each client on request.
